Game server hosting
Satisfactory server hosting
Satisfactory dedicated server hosting on 6 GB RAM for €16.99/month, VAT included, online about 60 seconds after checkout. Your factory keeps producing while everyone is logged off, saves and blueprints live on the server, and Satisfactory Mod Manager installs mods straight onto it.
6 GB plans are provisioned on request. This size sits above the capacity we keep online, so we bring a node up for it rather than holding idle hardware — which is also why the price stays where it is. Email us and we will confirm timing and have it running for you, usually the same day.
Stripe-secured payments · unused wallet credit refundable · no minimum term, cancel any time · EU company, VAT LT100016340412
Hosting Satisfactory
What actually matters on a Satisfactory server
Satisfactory's world tick is effectively single-threaded, so single-core clock matters far more than core count, and what loads it is your build rather than your player count: items in flight on belts, train signalling, drone routes. Satisfactory also never unloads distant parts of the map, so the entire factory ticks all the time and the whole world sits in memory, which is why RAM tracks save size instead of headcount. The third thing that catches people is versioning: server and client must be on the same branch and the same patch, so a Satisfactory server is something you update in step with the game, not something you leave alone for a month.
What 6 GB realistically runs
6 GB covers the run most groups actually do: two to four players from the first hub through to phase 4, a working train network, and a save in the tens of megabytes. A young world typically sits around 2 to 3 GB and climbs with the factory, not with the number of players, so adding a third and fourth engineer costs almost nothing. Where 6 GB gets tight is the megabase end, past roughly a hundred megabytes of save with thousands of belt items in flight and heavy drone traffic, and you will usually feel it in the autosave pause before you see it in memory. Satisfactory is designed around four players and defaults to that; raising the limit is a setting rather than a capacity promise, and beyond four the game itself is the constraint. If you do outgrow the 6 GB, email us and we resize the server the same day.

Getting your Satisfactory server running
- 1
Add the server in-game, then claim it
Start the server in the panel, then open Server Manager from the Satisfactory main menu and add the IP and port shown on your server. The first connection throws a certificate warning because the server's API certificate is self-signed; that is normal, accept it. Claim the server, set a name and an admin password. From then on that password gates every setting, because almost nothing about Satisfactory is configured from a web panel.
- 2
Load a save, or start the session fresh
Upload an existing single-player .sav through the Server Manager's save tab, or drop it over SFTP into the server's SaveGames folder and pick it from the list. Local saves come from %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames\ under your account ID. The server moves from Idle to Loading to Playing once the world is in memory; a large save takes a while on that first load and that is the file size talking, not the disk.
- 3
Turn the autosave defaults down before the save gets big
The default is a save every few minutes kept as a rotating set of copies. Nobody notices that on a young world. At a hundred megabytes it is a visible freeze for every player, several times an hour, plus a stack of large files on disk. Widen the interval, keep fewer rotating copies, and let the automated backups hold the history instead.
- 4
Install mods against the server, not against your PC
Satisfactory Mod Manager has a dedicated-server mode: point it at the server address with the admin password and it installs SML and your mod list server-side. Every player then needs the identical mod list at identical versions locally or the join simply fails. Settle the list early. Pulling a content mod out of a save that already has its buildings placed is the usual way people lose a factory.

Test your latency to our network
Measures the round trip from your connection to our EU-Central edge, right now.
This is an HTTPS round trip to our web edge, which typically reads a little higher than in-game ping. Treat it as an upper bound, not a promise.
How much RAM do you need?
Your Satisfactory plan ships with 6 GB. Player counts below are the practical limit before tick-rate suffers — mods and plugins matter more than raw player count.
| RAM | Players | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 2 GB | 1–4 | Vanilla worlds, small co-op, Terraria |
| 4 GB | 5–15 | Vanilla+ with plugins, light modpacks, most survival servers |
| 6 GB | 10–25 | Mid-size modpacks, Satisfactory and 7 Days to Die worlds |
| 8 GB | 20–40 | Heavy modpacks, ARK with mods, busy community servers |
Picked the wrong size? Email us and we will resize your server the same day — you keep the world, the files and the address.
How this one works

FAQ
Satisfactory server hosting — FAQ
My friends cannot connect after a Satisfactory update. What changed?
Client and server have to be on the same build. When a patch ships, players get updated first, and anyone on the new build sees a failed connection until the server is restarted onto the same version. Check the branch as well: Experimental and Stable are different builds, so one player switching to Experimental is locked out of a Stable server until they switch back. If you run mods, expect SML and the mod list to trail a patch behind, which is the usual reason to hold a modded server for a few days rather than update it the moment a patch lands.
Does the factory keep running when nobody is logged in?
Yes, and that is the main reason to rent a dedicated server instead of having one player host. The world is simulated server-side and Satisfactory never unloads distant areas, so miners keep extracting, belts keep moving and storage keeps filling while everyone is offline. The flip side is that it also burns fuel unattended. A coal or fuel setup with a marginal water supply will brown out overnight and stay tripped, because nothing resets the grid until someone logs back in. Before a long break, leave the power graph with headroom or a charged battery bank.
Why does everyone freeze for a second every few minutes?
That is the autosave. The server writes the entire world out to a .sav file and the pause scales with save size, so it is invisible at 15 MB and a real stall at 200 MB. Widen the autosave interval, keep fewer rotating copies, and stop using long belts as storage, since every item in flight is a separate object in both the save file and the tick. Buffer in containers instead. If the stall appeared overnight rather than growing over weeks, check the console around those timestamps for a save erroring and retrying.
How much does a Satisfactory server cost?
Satisfactory server hosting at Puranode starts at €16.99 per month for a 6 GB server, VAT included. It's a flat price — what you sign up at is what you renew at, with no setup fees and cancel anytime.
How quickly is my Satisfactory server online?
6 GB plans are provisioned on request rather than from the store, because that size sits above the capacity we keep online. Email us and we will bring the node up and hand over the panel details, usually the same day. Once it exists it behaves exactly like any other server.
Can I install mods and plugins on my Satisfactory server?
Yes. Satisfactory supports Mods (SMM), Blueprints, Server config and 24/7 uptime — install from a one-click menu or upload your own files over SFTP. There is no artificial limit.
Where are the servers located?
Puranode runs on EPYC + NVMe hardware in the EU (Finland), which gives low latency for European players. Puranode is operated by MB VARIANTAI, an EU company in Lithuania, and prices include VAT.
Can I move my existing Satisfactory server to Puranode?
Yes. Upload your existing world and config over SFTP, or contact us and we'll help migrate it — free for the first setup.
