Every game we host, and what it costs

Why some games are “on request”
4 of the 12 games here need 6 GB or 8 GB, which is more than the capacity we keep online and idle. Rather than take money for a server we cannot start immediately, those pages ask you to email us: we bring the capacity up, hand over the panel details, and it behaves exactly like any other server from then on. Usually the same day, during business hours.
The same honesty applies to resizing. There is one plan per game and no slider, so changing RAM is a manual resize we do the same day you ask — not an instant self-serve upgrade you can click at 2am mid-event. You keep the world, the files and the address.
Picking the size before you pay
Player count matters far less than what the server is running. A vanilla world for twenty people is lighter than a heavy modpack for six, because memory goes on loaded chunks, entities and mod code rather than on connections. If a server stutters rather than crashes, more RAM will not fix it — that is a CPU or tick-loop problem, and buying a bigger plan is money wasted.
