How Game Server Hosting Works at Puranode

Renting a game server means paying for a machine that runs your world around the clock, so nobody has to leave a PC on. This page explains exactly how that works at Puranode: how a server gets set up, what you control afterwards, how mods and existing worlds get onto it, and how billing works.

FAQ

Frequently asked

How long does it take to get a game server?

Tell us the game and plan and we confirm the price and start date. Our team installs and configures the server, usually the same day.

Do I need technical knowledge to run it?

No. You start, stop and configure the server from a web panel with a live console, a file manager and startup settings. SFTP is there if you want it.

Can I use my own mods and my existing world?

Yes. Mods and plugins install from the panel, and full file access means you can upload your own files and an existing world over SFTP.

How does billing work?

You add credit to your account by card through Stripe. The server renews from that balance every 30 days. There is no minimum term and unused credit is refundable.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes. Every price on the site includes VAT, and the price you sign up at is the price you renew at.
